Todd came up to get the pontoon in the water and we got that accomplished by 6PM. We put in at the Platte Public Access. Had belated birthday dinner with the fam then headed out. Had a near double on pike to start with on Mad Maxx Frogs. I then quickly got another pike then a 14-inch bass. We went to the beaver dam area and had some fish hit the frogs, but nothing hooked up. We didn't get another fish until we were East of Jenny's. Todd got a bass next to "the deck" dock and in the slop just to the East. On the way back I got a couple more pike and then a slimer stole my Grapes of Wrath Maxx, bummer. We fished until 10PM because the skeeters were manageable.
