Final Trip in the Trophy For 2024

5:00-6:30pm F Flat, N Reeds Across, NPBI
45-50℉, PC,  3mph S

I had to use a dock pole to move the Trophy backward. There were swans where I was headed on F Flat and loons in the wider bay. I got a pike in the first 10 minutes and missed another bite on F Flat. I fished the North Reeds Across Reed Edge for about 10 minutes, then went to NPBI. I didn't get a bite there.

1Pike

Despite the weather being nice in November until I took the Trophy out of the lake on the 17th of the month, this was my only trip in the boat for the month. I was preoccupied with the election, my surgery, and how sucky the fishing was in September and October.

Morning and Evening Small Fish

25.5" Northland (Chuck's)

6:00AM-Noon NPBI, SPBI, CIB, GWBC, N & S SPRO, I Juice
72-65℉, MC, 3-10mph SE
69-70℉ Low Falling

Started at North Point Big Island. Got two small bass, a crappie, and two pike there. I was lucky the bigger pike (25.5) didn't break my line when it ran under the boat. I then went to MPBI, nothing. Then SPBI where I got a small bass. Nothing at SPSI. Then I went to CIB and missed some bites and got a pike or two. Nothing at the GOMH into Sullivan. I got a bass on the Sprinker along the GOMH Wall Boat Channel opening. Nothing on the I Point. I worked all the way into shore missing the only blow up I had. I spent the rest of the morning in the N&S SPRO and I Juice catching a few and missing a few. Unfortunately, all of the bigger bites evaded me.

8:10-8:50PM East of Jenny's
80℉, PC, Humid, 2-4mph SW

Found out what was up with Snatcher Chuck not fishing to the BASS Nation State Tournament. Went East of Jenny's. Caught the first blow up on about my 4th cast, a 13-incher. I then missed my next 5 bites. With no bites in the final 20 minutes of fishing. I should have hauled for better water the second I was aware fish were biting. OH well.

Slow Night Platte/Sullivan

16" Bobby's Perfect (Sparrow)
6:30-9:00PM F Flat, NSPRO, Intersection
67-74℉, PC/MS, 0-3mph SW
76-74℉ Water Low falling

Threw the spinnerbait and Ploppers on F Flat for about half an hour getting one pike by the Brown Boathouse dock. Then I headed into Sullivan. Lost my first bite on Bobby's just outside of the first boat lane right where it should be. Got a good hookset it just came off.  Didn't get another hit until I was up by the rice point; The 16" in the picture, just a flesh wound. I got a 12-incher out of the reeds in the NW slop. Also had a pike miss the Sparrow there. KInd of a sucky night. Power for the coarse at this point.
